This shoebox is an entry in my Nike “Art is Action” collector series. It is based on the German art school that operated from 1919-1933. This school unified fine arts with functional design and mass production, emphasizing simplistic geometry and minimalist design. The design I’ve created strives to create a sense of unity to create a high-quality feel while keeping to the school’s base principles.

This shoebox serves as an entry in my Nike “Art is Action” series. Based on the International Art Deco Movement that originated in 1910-1930s France, this design employs rigid geometry, fine linework, and symmetrical designs to emphasize the movement’s emphasis on the rise of industrial mechanization. The designs have a distinct verticality to reiterate that progress provides us upward momentum.

This shoebox serves as an entry in my Nike “Art is Action” series. This particular box pays homage to the Art Nouveau movement of the 1890s to 1910. Emphasizing ornamentation and visual movement, this box employs twisting naturesque linework and references to mythology to convery a sense of luxury and a return to the mystical world.
